ABOUT
TY COOK
Born in Ft. Wayne, pianist and vocalist Ty Cook, started as a child prodigy at 4 years old singing in his father’s church. He then went on performing around the country as a teenager. Later, Ty Cook went on to attend college at Southern University Baton Rouge, eventually making Baton Rouge his home in 1988. Later on he transitioned to Lafayette, La to Pastor Lighthouse Family Church.
Ty Cook has been focused on song writing now more than ever and plans to release Christmas music in November 2022, as well as other new music. Cook has also been a member of the BMI Group since 2006 and prides himself on his dedication to his craft. You can catch Ty around Louisiana, featured at local locations. Dates will be released soon.
When Cook is not performing he can be found being a husband to Darnell Cook, and a father to his 4 sons.
